Osafo Daniel (born January 17, 1998) is a Ghanaian music public relations specialist, digital media publisher, and marketing strategist. His work focuses on digital communications and media coverage within the African entertainment industry.
Career
Early blogging and media foundations
Daniel began his digital publishing activities with a personal Blogspot domain, osafodaniel.blogspot.com, which was later migrated to his self-titled domain, osafodaniel.com. In 2018, he co-founded Groove Africa, an entertainment platform created to cover African music and pop culture.
Digital publications
In November 2021, Daniel launched Ghana Plug, an urban music and entertainment website publishing news, album reviews, and cultural features. Alongside his independent platforms, he contributed content to Ghanaian digital news outlets, including News Ghana, GhanaWeb, Ameyaw Debrah, Scooper News, Kobby Kyei News, and Opera News Ghana.
He subsequently established additional niche music publications:
- Gospel Chapter (launched August 2023): A Christian music and entertainment platform dedicated to gospel artists and industry developments.
- Rotate Magazine: An independent digital publication covering alternative music narratives and cross-genre artists.
- Afrobeats Mag (launched October 2024): A platform documenting the global Afrobeats movement, artist profiles, and industry trends.
Public relations and marketing
Beyond media publishing, Daniel works as a digital PR specialist, web developer, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategist. Through his agencies, PR Beast and 17th Agency, he manages digital marketing campaigns, branding, and public relations for independent artists, record labels, and partner media organizations.
